ALT300 Automotive Leak Tester & Locator

ALT300 Smoke Leak Tester is designed for detecting the leakage of pipe systems, air intake system and cooling tank, which conforms to SAE standards. It’s a professional tool which can help you find leakage in any pipe system quickly.

How To Use

  1. Open the engine cover, and hang the main unit under the cover.
  2. Disconnect the pipe which needs to be connected with detector. If the pipe’s two sides need to be disconnected, please make sure the other side needs to blocked with a rubber stopple.
  3. Make sure this side with proper taper stopple/pipe, and connect it with smoke output tube.
  4. Connect the main unit with DC12V battery: Red with positive, Black with negative.
  5. Turn on the power switch, the main unit starts to work.
  6. In 2 minutes, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check and find the leak points. Please use light or head lamp if necessary.
  7. After finding out leak location, then connect pipes or wires well.
